Zu diesen zählt auch die intravesikale Anwendung zur Rezidivprophylaxe bei nicht-invasiven Harnblasenkarzinomen nach einer OP. </p> <h3 style="font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size: 14px;color:#005CA9;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;"> Ursachen und Diagnose </h3> <p> Ca. 25.000 Neuerkrankungen an Tumoren der Harnblase werden pro Jahr in Deutschland verzeichnet. Männer sind dreimal häufiger betroffen als Frauen. Wesentliche Risikofaktoren für die Entstehung einer entsprechenden Krebserkrankung ist der Umgang mit bestimmten chemischen Stoffen (aromatische Amine) bzw. das Rauchen. Als weitere Risikofaktoren gelten zum Beispiel eine chronische Blasenentzündung, Krebsmedikamente auf Cyclophosphamid-Basis oder nicht behandelte Harnblasensteine. Bei einem Harnblasenkrebs sind häufig keine Frühsymptome erkennbar. Bei 80 Prozent der Patienten tritt jedoch im weiteren Krankheitsverlauf eine schmerzlose Blutung des Tumors (Makrohämaturie) aus der Blase auf. Weiterhin können häufiges Wasserlassen (Pollakisurie) oder Harndrang, bei dem kein Harn ausgeschieden wird, ein Hinweis auf die Erkrankung sein. Beim Auftreten dieser Symptome sollte daher eine fachärztliche Untersuchung erfolgen. </p> <h3 style="font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size: 14px;color:#005CA9;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;"> Therapie </h3> <p> Nichtinvasive Tumoren werden mittels der sogenannten transurethalen Blasenresektion (TUR) vollständig entfernt. Um das Wiederauftreten des Tumors bzw. das Fortschreiten der Erkrankung wirksam zu verhindern, sollte nach der operativen Entfernung eine regelmäßige Blasenspülung durchgeführt werden. Bei dieser werden über einen dünnen Katheter – durch die Harnröhre – Wirkstoffe (z. B. Mitomycin) in die Harnblase eingebracht. Zu diesen zählt auch die intravesikale Anwendung zur Rezidivprophylaxe bei nicht-invasiven Harnblasenkarzinomen nach einer OP. </p> <h3 style="font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size: 14px;color:#005CA9;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;"> Ursachen und Diagnose </h3> <p> Ca. 25.000 Neuerkrankungen an Tumoren der Harnblase werden pro Jahr in Deutschland verzeichnet. Männer sind dreimal häufiger betroffen als Frauen. Wesentliche Risikofaktoren für die Entstehung einer entsprechenden Krebserkrankung ist der Umgang mit bestimmten chemischen Stoffen (aromatische Amine) bzw. das Rauchen. Als weitere Risikofaktoren gelten zum Beispiel eine chronische Blasenentzündung, Krebsmedikamente auf Cyclophosphamid-Basis oder nicht behandelte Harnblasensteine. Bei einem Harnblasenkrebs sind häufig keine Frühsymptome erkennbar. Bei 80 Prozent der Patienten tritt jedoch im weiteren Krankheitsverlauf eine schmerzlose Blutung des Tumors (Makrohämaturie) aus der Blase auf. Weiterhin können häufiges Wasserlassen (Pollakisurie) oder Harndrang, bei dem kein Harn ausgeschieden wird, ein Hinweis auf die Erkrankung sein. Beim Auftreten dieser Symptome sollte daher eine fachärztliche Untersuchung erfolgen. </p> <h3 style="font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size: 14px;color:#005CA9;margin-top:10px;margin-bottom:10px;"> Therapie </h3> <p> Nichtinvasive Tumoren werden mittels der sogenannten transurethalen Blasenresektion (TUR) vollständig entfernt. Um das Wiederauftreten des Tumors bzw. das Fortschreiten der Erkrankung wirksam zu verhindern, sollte nach der operativen Entfernung eine regelmäßige Blasenspülung durchgeführt werden. Bei dieser werden über einen dünnen Katheter – durch die Harnröhre – Wirkstoffe (z. B. Mitomycin) in die Harnblase eingebracht.
