Geeignet sind zum Beispiel BD Ultra-Fine™ Nadeln (5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm). Da FORSTEO<sup>®</sup> ein Arzneimittel ist und die Nadeln ein Hilfsmittel, muss der Arzt getrennte Rezepte verwenden. Bei der Verordnung der Nadeln muss die „7“ für Hilfsmittel angekreuzt und die Diagnose auf dem Rezept vermerkt sein.
