Aktuell wird die ePA 4 bis 6 Wochen lang in drei Modell­regionen aus­ge­rollt. Ab Anfang März 2025 ist sie dann für alle Versicherten deutschlandweit nutzbar. Die Nutzung der ePA ist für die Versicherten freiwillig – ist keine ePA gewünscht, kann jederzeit gegenüber der Krankenkasse widersprochen werden.
