Zugang zum Melde­portal haben alle Teilnehmer der Telematik­infrastruktur (TI), also z. B. Inhaber eines elektronischen Heil­berufs­aus­weises (HBA) oder Institutionen mit einer SMC-B-Karte. </p> <p> Das Melde­portal ist der Grund­stein für weitere Aus­bau­stufen. Ab 2022 sollen alle melde­pflichtigen Erreger­arten wie z. B. Influenza, Masern oder Rotaviren über DEMIS über­mittelt werden.
