Liegt der Preis eines vom Arzt verordneten Arznei­mittels über dem Fest­betrag, so muss in der Regel der Versicherte diesen Differenz­betrag – die Mehr­kosten – zusätzlich zur gesetzlichen Zuzahlung ent­richten. Eine Abrechnung von Mehr­kosten zulasten der GKV ist nur in Ausnahme­fällen möglich.
