Bei Patienten mit den genannten Grunderkrankungen, die an Eisenmangel oder -anämie leiden, können sich diese Komorbiditäten beispielsweise auf die körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit<sup style="font-size:10px;">3,5,6,9</sup>, die Lebensqualität<sup style="font-size:10px;">7,10</sup> und sogar auf den Verlauf der Grunderkrankung<sup style="font-size:10px;">8,11,12</sup> auswirken. </p> <p> Ferinject<sup>®</sup> ist indiziert zur Behandlung von Eisenmangelzuständen, wenn orale Eisenpräparate unwirksam sind oder nicht angewendet werden können. Die Diagnose eines Eisenmangels muss durch geeignete Laboruntersuchungen bestätigt sein.<sup style="font-size:10px;">13</sup><br>Bei Unverträglichkeiten gegenüber oralem Eisen, Eisenresorptionsstörungen oder allgemein bei nicht ausreichendem Ansprechen auf orale Darreichungsformen, empfehlen entsprechende Leitlinien, z. Einige Kolleginnen und Kollegen hatten sogar zu diesem Zeit­punkt bereits das DAP Forum kontaktiert.
