Nach den USA und Kanada dürfen nun auch in der Europäischen Union Jugendliche erstmals gegen Covid-19 geimpft werden. Die Europäische Arzneimittel-Agentur (EMA) empfahl die Zulassungserweiterung der BioNTech/Pfizer-Vakzine für 12- bis 15-Jährige am 28. Mai und die Europäische Kommission folgte dieser Empfehlung, sodass auch Jugendliche den Covid-19-Schutz erhalten dürfen.
